Combustion Safety Assessments – We will assess your combustion appliances (e.g. a gas furnace or water heater) before and after each project to ensure that the improvements we completed have not compromised their safe operation.
Proper Ventilation – Insulation and air sealing will make your home more air tight. We will test your home before and after all insulation and air sealing work to make sure we have maintained proper ventilation for good indoor air quality.
Lead Safe Work Practices – We adhere to all state and federal requirements for working in homes that may have lead-based paint.
Well Trained Crews – All our crews have successfully completed training and certification in Lead-Safe Work Practices. Our supervisors are all Building Performance Institute (BPI) Bertified to perform combustion safety testing and determine appropriate ventilation levels.
Materials - We use environmentally friendly insulation materials that do not contain formaldehyde and are made from reclycled raw materials such as cellulose or Knauf EcoBatt™ fiberglass insulation. Nontoxic paints, coating and sealers are also used to minimize chemical off-gassing.
